Eric Schmiedeke is a Partner and Sr. Analyst with IntelliCom Analytics and leads the firm’s Information Technology-driven Solutions, Pricing, and Commercial Practices benchmarking and intelligence database programs and advisory services. In this role, Mr. Schmiedeke provides clients with detailed analysis, insights, and recommendations on all aspects of market performance, solutions offers and packaging, value-based pricing, commercial practices and policies, and go-to-market models.

Mr. Schmiedeke has over 35 years experience as an industry analyst and consulting project leader in market research, analysis, and consulting for leading vendors in the Business Communications and IT industries. He has managed over 700 significant project engagements and specializes in strategic planning, market opportunity analysis, product and performance benchmarking, pricing strategy, and financial modeling and analysis. He has also served as an expert witness for numerous industry-related litigation in Federal District and State Superior Courts. His recommendations on market opportunity targeting; product, pricing, go-to-market strategy; market performance improvement; and commercial practices have been widely implemented in the industry.

Mr. Schmiedeke is expert in a number of key market areas, including the evolution, migration, sales and adoption of Cloud, Hosted, Managed and Lifecycle Services; Unified Communications and Collaboration and Customer Experience applications; and software licensing and subscription services. For many of his client initiatives, Mr. Schmiedeke's team utilizes detailed "atomic-level" analyses in the areas of: business end-user demand; enterprise decision-making priorities, processes and control; and macro-economic impacts on market demand, attach rates, pull-through spend and financial performance throughout all layers of the supply chain. His team's expertise also extends to the micro-analysis of installed base composition, growth, migration, segmentation, competitive control, and new/disruptive technology adoption.

Prior to IntelliCom Analytics, Mr. Schmiedeke was co-founder and CEO of InfoTech Consulting; responsible for leading business development, custom project management, and client information services. During his career at InfoTech, he founded and directed the development of its InfoTrack market intelligence programs and led custom market research and consulting engagements for leading companies throughout the Business Communications and Information Technology industries. InfoTech Consulting was acquired by Phillips Publishing/Access Intelligence, which led to the independent formation of IntelliCom Analytics.

Mr. Schmiedeke is a graduate of the International School of Brussels, Belgium, and received his BS and MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of South Florida.
